About
After studying Graphic Design and Drawing at Hampton University(1990), Asa Shatkin left school to become a Graphic Documentation Specialist and paratrooper in the Army.
After a few years spent eating beans on toast and painting unit crests on every building on every Army post in the United States, he returned to school to learn how to suffer as only an an artist can (boo hoo) - and to study painting. Today, he and his imaginary friends create some of the hippest spot illustrations around.
